The Process
1.) Homework
Before getting on our wait list, do your homework! Learn as much as you can about these breeds and make sure they fit your lifestyle. Please feel free to reach out to us with any questions you have, we'd even love to meet you in person and let you meet some of our dogs.

2.) Application
Once you've decided this is the breed for you and want to pursue getting one we ask that you please fill out our application. Make sure to put as much detail as possible when filling it out since this is what we start referring to in the future when it comes time to matching with your puppy. Once we've reviewed your application you will get an email back from us letting you know if you're application was approved. Please give us time to review them as we can get pretty busy with dog events, raising the litters, life, ect. There is a non-refundable $100 fee to join our wait list. This is for families that are committed to purchasing a puppy from us. This fee will be deducted from your puppy's deposit. Those on our wait list will receive updates about our breeding plans and decisions we make including breeding announcements, confirmed pregnancies, puppy count, and more. The waitlist deposit is non-refundable. But in the case that the dam does not have enough puppies per gender or does not take to the pregnancy the $100 deposit will either be applied to a different litter waitlist or refunded. This would be your decision! But this deposit will not be refunded if I have a puppy to provide you but you decide to no longer get one.

We very rarely have availability after puppies are born (especially for our Dachshunds) so if you are interested we highly suggest to apply and place your wait list deposit to secure your spot!

3.) Deposits
We wait several weeks to keep a close eye on everyone after being born and make sure everyone is thriving. Then we will reach out to those on our wait list for our next step of the process. We will setup phone calls with each family to get to know each other better and get more of an idea of what you're looking for in a puppy. At this stage we do not guarantee a specific puppy to anyone as the puppies are too young to see how their personalities will be but we do have you pick if you would like a male or female puppy. This is when we start taking the non-refundable $500 deposit (or $400 if you placed a wait list deposit) to reserve a gender spot for the specific litter. Any deposits made will be deducted off the purchase price of the puppy. If for any reason after placing a deposit you can no longer bring a puppy home at that time you will have 12 months to place it on a different puppy.

4.) Puppy Matching
Once the puppies are about 7-8 weeks old we conduct a temperament test and start evaluating their structures. This gives us a better idea of which puppy would fit for each family. We will match the puppies to their families based off your families activity levels, puppy’s temperaments, and your goals for them. I like to match puppies this way as I wouldn’t want to place a very active puppy with a calmer family and vice versa. This helps set you and your new puppy up for success. We have seen how each puppy’s personalities have developed the last 8 weeks and have an idea of what kind of home they’ll need. For our Dachshunds, some puppies may not be matched until they are older (9-10 weeks old) because they are being further evaluated for show prospects.

5.) Go Home!
We start letting our Golden Retrievers go home at 8 weeks old and Dachshunds at 10 weeks. We ask to set up a specific time for pickup as we will go over everything we have introduced the puppy too, registering their microchips, submitting the AKC registration together, and more. This is also when we will take the remaining balance owed for your puppy. Once we are finished going over everything during your pups go home, you're officially all set and ready for your new pup! Please feel free to use us as a resource though as we will always be here for your pups!

As the Breeder we reserve the right to first and second pick of every litter as we breed for ourselves first.
If at ANY POINT, we feel you are no longer a safe or right fit for our puppies, we reserve the right to stop the process and no longer sell to you. Our puppies’ safety and well-being is our highest priority.​​
Pricing/What Your Puppy Comes With
Price:
The current price for our Dachshunds is $2,500 and our Golden Retrievers are $2,000. All of our puppies are sold on limited registration. This means NO showing/breeding rights this will not affect them from being able to participate in sports, field trials, or other events. Full registration can be given at our discretion only if we deem the puppy is breeding worthy. We will require the full registration puppy once it's 24 months old to pass the breed specific health testing's set by the breed clubs, breed specific genetic panel, and has at least one title with AKC or UKC. This is to ensure the puppy is breeding worthy and isn't being bred before it's sexually mature. There will be an additional charge for full registration. At this time we are not placing dogs in show homes for our Dachshunds (we are breeding for ourselves first, so any dogs that are show quality will typically be kept by us for the time being). ​

We are now offering $100 off for our past puppy buyers, military, and first responders! Being a military family ourselves we want to give a discount as a thank you!

Payment: We can take payments via Venmo, Card (GoodDog), or cash. There may be additional charges when using GoodDog to cover fees. We are not accepting checks or other forms of payment at this time.
​
You are welcome to make payments while the puppy is growing up with us. But we do require the full balance to be paid by the pickup date unless other arrangements are made. No puppy will go home without the final payment received. We will not hold puppies for an extended period of time for payments.

Common Questions
Registration: All of our puppies are sold on limited registration, meaning NO BREEDING/SHOWING rights. Full registration can be given at our discretion if we deem the puppy is breeding worthy. Spay/Neuter: We require all of our puppies that are sold on limited AKC registration to be spayed/neutered no sooner than 18 months and no later than 26 months of age. Our health guarantee is void if the puppy is altered before 18 months of age.

Shipping: We are able to meet locally within 1 hour from Cheyenne, WY completely for free. If you live out of state we ask that you plan accordingly whether that means driving to us, flying, or hiring a transporter. We are more than willing to meet you at the Denver airport. We will not ship our puppies via cargo, but can fly with your puppy via carry-on. This would be an additional charge added to the purchase price to cover flight and pet fee costs.

Return Policy: We require that all puppies that we produce are returned to us if for any reason they are no longer wanted regardless of age!
