About Our Caviary
We are a hobby breeder of Baldwin guinea pigs. We are still a newer Caviary as we started in 2025 formally, but I have years of experience of breeding other breeds of guinea pigs. We are glad to be able to help preserve a breed of guinea pig that is not very common and help spread information on them!
Goals
My biggest goal to to try to eventually get Baldwins to be a recognized breed so they can also be shown. I think this would be a really great tool to have for the breed. Right now since there isn't many Baldwins out there I feel like people are just breeding whatever they can get their hands on and ultimately lie about where they came from or try to hide their past. I think them being recognized will hold breeders of Baldwins to a higher standard which would do wonders for the breeds health.

Why Baldwins?
I have wanted Baldwin guinea pigs for almost 10 years before I got my first one. After getting my first group I have learned a lot. I have quickly noticed that there aren't many people who are breeding them for the right intentions and truly care about the breed. As someone who cares pretty greatly about our dogs and their lines, health, and preservation we ultimately decided that we'd like to try to go along this journey to do right to the breed.
